We made it to Marathon this week; Sunday I think The days are blending together This is the farthest place in the Keys we'll bring our boat From here there's a bus that goes to the lower keys. We'll take that to Key West tomorrow for a day trip
The City Marina here is great and not very crowded now that the winter season has passed. Great facilities and really nice people.

Compass Rose
Compass Rose is our 1989 Hutchins Com-pac 27 we bought in Tarpon Springs, FL in 2010. Last year we took her to the Florida Keys and then the Abacos. This year we will head to the Keys and hope to stay longer there.

A1A
We are officially in the Keys. We passed under the highway 1 bridge today on our way to Key Largo. Great sail with the engine shut off going from Elliott Key.
Note to self...
Double check weather alerts before we leave. We left Dinner Key under blue skies but weather started to deteriorate as we entered Biscayne Bay. We managed to stay south of it before anchoring at Elliott Key.

For want of a hose clamp
We got back to the boat with dead batteries We found that a clamp broke on our bilge pump which killed the batteries. Tom figured out the problem and has gotten us up and going again. Now we have double clamps on all of our systems.
GI Joe
We thought of the grandboys when we walked by this store with a display of vintage GI Joes. They love to play with the ones we have at home. Miss them so much.
