After five days in the creeks of Georgia we made it to Beaufort today.  We're at the Port Royal Landing marina and will move around to the anchorage tomorrow. Only a few days to Charleston!

Not a great picture we had to document going more than 9 mph today. We had the wind and tides with us and zoomed. It didn't last all day but got us to Jekyll Island by lunch time.

Hurt knee

My knee has has some sharp pains so I've bee hobbling around with rhis stupid brace. The UPS guy stopped me this afternoon and told me to get Tart Cherry from the vitamin sore and I'd be out of the brace. Gotta check it out.

We stopped in Jacksonville at Palm Cove Marina for the night to break up the 60 mile run to Fernandina Beach.

We survived the storm

It seems it took a north turn a hit Jacksonville and Fernandino. We had 40/60mph and our lines and fenders held without much bounce.

We're hunkered down at the marina in Marineland FL watching this tropical storm. It's now 80 miles east of St. Augustine and we're 20 miles south of there. We've got extra lines and fenders out and are now playing the waiting game.

We left Ft.Pierce after clearing into customs and immigration for a 15 mile run to Vero Beach. This is such a great stop with a public bus that picks you at the marina to run errands ...clean and free.
