Melbourne, FL

We left Cocoa after just one night because of the difficulty of getting on the dock. The city built this wonderful waterfront park after the hurricanes of 2004 but left no access to getting on the dock by way of ladders, floating docks, etc for dinghies.
There’s great holding before the Melbourne bridge 20 miles to the south so we headed there and dinghiedto the town of Indialantic. Small coastal town but we always love going ashore and exploring. We met up with friends – Annie, Mark & Linda – and found a tiki bar to enjoy the remainder of the afternoon. Then a dinghy race back to the boats for steak and squash on the grill.  Yum….
Today we’re headed for Vero Beach for a couple of days.
